"Your background doesn't determine your future. Your decision does."

Joyce Bea Sterling is Kentucky's only Diamond Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) — the highest designation in real estate education. She's been teaching real estate for over 30 years, has authored two books, and has taught at the National Association of REALTORS® conference.
She built 2 My Classes because she believes real estate education should be a relationship, not a product. You won't get a licensing agreement written by someone who's never held a license. You'll get an instructor who has lived what she teaches — and who answers the phone.
"Confidence is the reward for finding something you cannot do, and learning how to do it."
If you get stuck, you call, text, or email me — or we hop on Zoom. You are not doing this alone.
Built to actually prepare you — not just get you through the hours.
Learn at your own pace, online, from home or your office — with progress saved so you can pick up right where you left off. New for 2026: audio lessons are available for every section, so you can study the way that works best for you.
2 My Classes is approved by the Kentucky Real Estate Commission (KREC) and licensed by the Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education. Here's the whole path, not just this class:
Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
96 hours: national principles, Kentucky law, and your live class test.
Begin the required FBI Identity History Summary process before taking the licensing examination.
Pass both the national and Kentucky portions through the state's approved testing provider.
Line up a licensed principal broker to sponsor you — and keep me in your corner while you do.
Submit your application to KREC once you've passed both portions of the examination and have your sponsoring broker in place.
See current KREC licensing requirements.
Your tuition covers your 96-hour prelicense course, textbook option, class test, and exam-review materials. Other organizations charge additional fees as you move through the licensing process.
These fees are not paid to 2 My Classes and may change. Check KREC and ask your prospective principal broker about current licensing fees, local dues, and other startup costs.
Same course. Same instructor. Same live class test. The only difference is your textbook.
Standard completion window is 9 months, with a free 3-month extension and a paid extension option available after that. No coupon-code games and no constantly changing sale price. This is our real price.

"I passed. I got 90% on my national and 97% on my state!"
"You set the stage for me out here. You were such an inspiration to me and really taught me to show up differently out here. I could never forget that. You're a beautiful soul."
A married couple once came to me before they'd even registered. She said she couldn't do math and wanted to know how much math was on the exam. I asked if she had a learning disability — she didn't. I told her: I can teach you math, but you have to do what I ask.
Then her voice went quiet. She hadn't graduated high school. She'd need her GED first.
I gave her the biggest smile I had, held up my hand for a high-five, and said: Congratulations. Education changes everything.
She got her GED. She and her husband both enrolled and did the work. On the day of our review, she asked to speak to the class — and told them a teacher had once told her girls couldn't do math, and there was no reason for her to learn it. "I believed him," she said, "until I met Joyce."
She was the only student who worked every math question correctly that morning. Both she and her husband passed on their first attempt.
Yes. This is self-paced and online — no fixed class schedule except your live Tuesday-evening class test. Most students finish in 2–3 months; the fastest have done it in about 3.5 weeks.
Yes, if you're willing to do the work. I've taught students who hadn't finished high school to work every math question on the exam correctly. I will never tell you that you can't learn this — but I will tell you honestly if it's going to take more time and effort, and I'll be there for it.
You can retake it. I'm also here to help you prepare again — this doesn't end when the course does.
You have 9 months standard, with a free 3-month extension. After that, a further 6-month extension is available for $100 ($150 if a new book edition has released).
The course, instructor access, and live class test are identical no matter which you choose. The digital textbook is delivered securely to read on your device; the printed textbook is mailed to you via Priority Mail to keep and write in. You can also get both for a little more — handy if you want to study from your phone on the go and still have a physical book at home.
Students may cancel enrollment by written notification within five days of payment. Written notification may be sent by emailing Joyce Bea Sterling at Joyce@2MyClasses.com. Delivery confirmation by email is the responsibility of the student.
If a student cancels an enrollment, all materials must be returned at the student's expense in re-salable condition within 5 days. Cancellation is subject to a $200 cancellation fee. Refunds will be issued after the materials are returned.
Your decision does. We're here to help you make good on it.
